🔼 Born into Basketball. Get to know UTSA men’s basketball junior guard Christian Tucker in this Q&A.

Q: Why did you choose UTSA?

Christian Tucker: “I chose UTSA mostly because of how the coaching staff built a great relationship with me during my recruitment process. Since first being recruited by UTSA, this was always the place I wanted to be.”

Q: What do you like most about being a student-athlete at UTSA?

Christian Tucker: “What I like most about being a student-athlete at UTSA is that I have been able to make relationships with so many students and athletes. I also have all the tools necessary to not only be a great athlete, but a great person.”

Q: How did you first get involved in playing basketball?

Christian Tucker: “Since I was a baby, I was always surrounded by basketball. My father had been working in the NBA for many years and took me under his wing. It was only right that basketball would turn into the sport that I love.”
