🔼 Shootout In The Alamodome. UTSA spotted Colorado State 14 points in the first two minutes and then rattled off 35 straight, riding a 542-yard afternoon to a 59-45 win that produced the second-most points in program history. Mekhi Anderson took a kickoff 100 yards to the house in the third quarter and added a 14-yard touchdown catch in the fourth, while A'Marion Peterson scored twice, including a 47-yard dash to seal it. Owen McCown threw for 303 yards and three scores, and all three running backs topped 60 yards with a touchdown apiece. The 104 combined points are the most in any UTSA game ever.

The Roadrunners open American Conference play Oct. 3 at Rice.

🔼 Honoring Champs. The UTSA women’s basketball team got their rings on Saturday at halftime in an on-field ceremony that celebrated the American Conference Tournament Champions! Make your plans to be at the Convocation Center on Nov. 16 when the Roadrunners unveil their championship banner.

🔼 Road Point. Addi O'Kelley put UTSA soccer ahead seven minutes in with her first career goal, and the Roadrunners held on for a 1-1 draw at Charlotte to bank a conference point. Leah Varela started the sequence with service on a free kick, picking up her eighth assist of the season to tie the UTSA single-season record. Charlotte answered in the 31st and pushed hard after the break, but Jasmine Kessler matched her season high with six saves, including a huge 67th-minute sequence where Isabel Peters cleaned up the rebound. UTSA hosts Rice on Oct. 1 for Greek Night and a Pink Out.

🔼 Wearing The One. Camron Cooper's road to UTSA's No. 1 jersey took a few turns. A two-way star out of Dayton High School, he arrived as a tight end and caught his first career pass in 2022 before deciding in a hotel room ahead of the Frisco Bowl that his future was on defense. The switch stuck, and a first career start and a Myrtle Beach Bowl title followed in 2024, then a season-ending injury in the 2025 opener took it all away. Cooper spent the year texting teammates from the sideline and grinding through rehab. This season, his teammates and coaches voted him the program's prestigious single-digit honor.
