TGIF, Roadrunners Fam. The UTSA soccer team (6-2-3, 2-0-1 AMER) remained unbeaten in September, but the Roadrunners’ win streak closed at four with a conference road point as UAB (3-2-6, 0-0-3 AMER) held UTSA just long enough for the 1-1 draw on Thursday night at PNC Field. Both teams put a score on the board in the second half off putback opportunities, as Ava Jackson equalized the score in the 63rd minute to keep the Roadrunners tied at the top of the American Conference standings.

🔼 Claunch Launch … Well, Reboot. Officials from the American Conference released the conference-wide slate on Thursday, revealing the full 2025-26 UTSA men’s basketball conference schedule for the second season under head coach Austin Claunch. With 11 newcomers on the roster, Claunch’s Roadrunners will tip off the 18-game American schedule on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Eleanor R. 🔼 What’s Under the Tree? HOOPS. Second-year UTSA men’s basketball coach Austin Claunch made sure that the Roadrunners will have some big-time matchups on their December 2025 slate, announcing on Wednesday that UTSA will travel to face opposition from the SEC (Alabama), Big 12 (Colorado) and Big Ten (USC).

Adding three more dates to the official 2025-26 non-conference schedule, UTSA will travel on Sunday, Dec. 7, to Tuscaloosa to square off with Claunch’s former team at Alabama in Coleman Coliseum. Claunch finished up as an assistant coach in 2024 for the Crimson Tide with a Final Four appearance in the national semifinal, ending the season with a 25-12 record.

🤙🏼 ONE BIG THING
