It’s almost Game Day! The Roadrunners host Colorado State tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Alamodome for UTSA's annual Hispanic Heritage Game, with the first 15,000 fans through the doors getting themed thunder sticks courtesy of Dos Equis. The Spirit of San Antonio's halftime tribute features Mariachi Los Paisanos and Ballet Folklorico San Antonio, and the women's basketball team will also receive its 2026 American Conference Tournament Championship rings. Rowdy Town Live opens at 8 a.m. with a live DJ, carnival attractions, and free giveaways, followed by Spirit Walk at 8:15 a.m. The game airs nationally on ESPNU.

Your Wendy’s Woman of the Month is UTSA cross country’s Meryeme Mai, who won American Conference Women's Athlete of the Week after taking the 5k outright at the UIW Invitational in 17:12 during her Roadrunner debut. She's UTSA's first meet winner since 2017 and the program's first women's weekly honoree since 2015.

🔼 The Origin Story. The newest episode of Convos with Campos digs into how UTSA football came to be, as Dr. Lisa Campos sits down with Brad Parrott, co-author of Still Undefeated: How UTSA Football Went From Forbidden to Significant. 🔼 A Gauntlet Awaits. UTSA women's basketball has released a nonconference schedule stacked with postseason competition: three NCAA Tournament teams and six total postseason programs. The Roadrunners open Nov. 6 at UNLV before facing WBIT quarterfinalist San Diego State, then return home for a three-game stretch against UIW, Louisiana, and North Dakota State. A trip to the Puerto Rico Clasico brings matchups with Binghamton and MEAC champion Howard. December is all Texas, with trips to Baylor, TCU, Texas State, and SMU.
🔼 A Scholar & A Punter. Caile Hogan has been named a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, college football's top scholar-athlete award. The Melbourne, Australia, native carries a 3.54 GPA and is set to earn his bachelor's degree in December. On the field, he's averaging 41.1 yards on 16 punts this season after posting the second-best single-season punting average in program history in 2025. Hogan is also deeply involved in community service, from food distribution events to children's hospital visits.
