UTSA will kick off its 15th season of football tomorrow (Saturday) at No. 19/21 Texas A&M.

Football season is here, Roadrunners Fam. UTSA will kick off its 15th season of football tomorrow (Saturday) at No. 19/21 Texas A&M. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT, and the game will be nationally televised by ESPN. This will mark the third meeting between the Roadrunners and Aggies, who won the previous two games in 2016 (23-10) and 2019 (45-14). UTSA won four of its last five games to finish 2024 with a 7-6 overall record. UTSA is 46-20 (.697) overall in the Jeff Traylor era (since 2020), the ninth-most wins in the FBS and the most among FBS teams from the state of Texas and the American Conference.

Your Wendy’s Woman of the Month is UTSA soccer goalkeeper Jasmine Kessler! Kessler was just named Goalkeeper of the Week by the American Conference. The junior from Spring, Texas, Kessler posted her 33rd career appearance in the net for UTSA last Sunday, notching one solo clean sheet and another combined shutout to lead UTSA to victories over St. Mary’s and Lamar. She ranks 30th nationally in GAA, 28th in save percentage, 25th in saves and 10th in shutouts.

🔼 Volleyball Season Loading… The UTSA Roadrunners are set to open their 2025 campaign at 6 p.m. this evening at the Convo, taking on Stephen F. Austin in the first match of the UTSA Invitational. UTSA will then take on Texas State in the Battle of I-35 at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Convocation Center.

The Roadrunners closed out the 2024 season with an 11-18 record and a 7-8 record at home. UTSA welcomes back eight players from last year’s squad, and also welcomes ten new faces, which include six freshmen, one redshirt freshman, and three transfers.
