🔼 Kicking Into High Gear. UTSA soccer registered the Roadrunners’ first American Conference weekly honor of the 2025-26 academic year for any sport on Monday, as Jasmine Kessler has been named American Goalkeeper of the Week, while Zoë May received Honorable Mention following the Roadrunners’ two-victory week.

Kessler posted her 33rd career appearance in the net for UTSA on Sunday, notching one solo clean sheet and another combined shutout to lead UTSA to victories over St. Mary’s and Lamar last week. May proved to be the hero of the Lamar win, registering an 81st-minute penalty kick score for her first career gamewinner.

🔼 Girls Got Swag. The students are officially back on campus, and the ‘Runners softball team was treated to some new drip!

Like the Dundies, But Better. UTSA Athletics unveiled its final winners of its annual Rowdys awards during halftime of the home soccer match versus Lamar on Sunday at Park West Athletics Complex.

Voting for six of the annual awards took place over the summer, once all athletics competitions for the 2024-25 academic year were complete. Below are the winners of these awards:

Women’s Newcomer of the Year Nina De Leon Negron, Women’s Basketball

Sincere McCormick piled up 217 all-purpose yards, Clarence Hicks posted a pair of sacks, and Hunter Duplessis kicked a 42-yard field goal as time expired to help UTSA rally from a 21-point deficit for a 31-28 victory over Memphis. In doing so, the team snapped the Tigers' 17-game winning streak at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.
