🔼 Standing Out. Congratulations to UTSA soccer’s Ava Jackson and Amelia Clark, who earned American Conference Player of the Week honorable mentions after strong performances on the pitch. Jackson has three goals in four games this season.
🔼 Texas-Sized Recognition. Four Roadrunners are up for a Lone Star legend's award! Wide receivers David Amador II and AJ Wilson, running back Will Henderson III, and quarterback Owen McCown were named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List, honoring Division I's top offensive player with Texas ties. Henderson rushed for 866 yards last season, the second-most by a freshman in school history, while McCown now appears on six preseason watch lists. Amador even threw two touchdown passes to complement his 45 catches.
🔼 Show Time. It’s about that time! UTSA volleyball is officially back on the court this weekend. The Roadrunners take on UT Arlington on Friday, SIU Edwardsville on Saturday, and Arkansas on Sunday. All games are in Fayetteville, Ark. Sunday’s match will air on SEC Network+.
