🔼 First W. UTSA soccer is in the win column! The Roadrunners topped previously undefeated Colorado College 2-0 last night at Park West, staying unbeaten while dominating with a 14-6 shot advantage. Ava Jackson opened the scoring in the 12th minute, driving in a deflected Brooklyn Bailey shot from point-blank range past three defenders, before Sadie Paul slipped around her defender for a header in the 57th. Jasmine Kessler earned her first clean sheet of the season, and the Roadrunners join Tulsa as the only unbeaten teams in the American Conference.

🔼 McCown's List Grows. Owen McCown is stacking up the preseason honors! The UTSA quarterback was named to both the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Watch List, for the second consecutive year, and the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award Preseason Watch List, where he's the only American Conference representative in the award's 50th anniversary season. He's now on four major preseason watch lists ahead of the Sept. 5 opener against UTRGV!

🔼 Set for Fall. UTSA volleyball is gearing up for the 2026 campaign! The American Conference released its preseason coaches' poll this week, with the Roadrunners slotted seventh, and head coach Carol Price-Torok likes what she sees in her squad. UTSA returns 10 members from 2025, including kills leader Ally Tribe. The Roadrunners visit No. 21 Baylor on Saturday for a final tune-up before the Aug. 28 season opener against UT Arlington!

🔼 Welcome to UTSA. UTSA Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Lisa Campos announced Jonah Goldberg as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Strategic Communications. Goldberg arrives after a 15-year run at UT Rio Grande Valley, where he helped generate over $6 billion in advertising value equivalency, modernized the broadcast standard with ESPN+ coverage for every ticketed home game over the past decade, and spearheaded six conference championship hosting efforts.
