Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. Join us for UTSA Athletics Fan Fest this Saturday, Aug. 16, beginning at noon CT at the Convocation Center to kick off the 2025-26 season. It’s your opportunity to meet your Roadrunners’ football, soccer, and volleyball teams. The soccer and volleyball teams will sign autographs from 12-1, and football will sign autographs from 1-2:30. There will be fun and games for the entire family. The event is free and open to the public.

🔼 Houston, We Have a Prob…Eh…Never Mind. UTSA redshirt junior tight end Houston Thomas has been chosen for the John Mackey Award Watch List. Thomas is one of 46 FBS tight ends selected to the preseason watch list for the award that is presented annually to the best tight end in college football.

Last season, Thomas played in all 13 games and earned nine starts at tight end. He caught 34 passes for 470 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 13.8 yards per reception on the year. He had at least one catch in all 13 games, with three or more receptions in a half dozen contests.

🔼 Teeing This Up. UTSA head women’s golf coach Summer Batiste has announced the program’s 2025-26 schedule, which features six tournaments in the state of Texas as well as trips to four other states and Mexico.

The Roadrunners will tee off their ninth season under Batiste on Sept. 8-9 when they travel to Corinth, Texas, for the Sam Golden Invitational, which North Texas will host at Oakmont Country Club.

The spring season is slated to get underway Jan. 30-31 with the Collegiate Invitational at GCC, which Virginia will host at Guadalajara Country Club in Mexico.

It’s Baaaaaack. The UTSA soccer team opens its 2025 season this week, playing host to both Houston and TCU at Park West. The Roadrunners welcome the Cougars on Thursday at 7 p.m. CT and the Horned Frogs on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Season tickets are on sale now, starting at just $65. Click the tweet above to get yours!

In 2022, the UTSA women's soccer team captured its first-ever Conference USA Tournament title, beating Florida Atlantic 3–2 in overtime in the final. Offensive MVP went to Anna Sutter, while Kendall Kloza earned Defensive MVP honors.
