Good Morning, UTSA Fam. UTSA placed 12 players on the Athlon Sports Preseason All-American Conference Team, second-most in the league behind only Navy. Leading the way on the first team are quarterback Owen McCown, wide receiver David Amador II, running back Will Henderson III and punter Caile Hogan.

🔼 Welcome to UTSA. UTSA men's basketball added 6-foot-10 junior college transfer Chinedum Okpukpara as its 10th offseason signing. The Chicago native averaged a double-double of 14.3 points and 10.5 rebounds at Highland Community College while ranking second nationally among NJCAA players in both blocks per game (2.9) and rebounds per game.

🔼 Summer Reading List. “Still Undefeated: How UTSA Football Went From Forbidden to Significant" is now available on Amazon. Co-authored by former UTSA staff members Brad Parrott and Jim Goodman, the book traces the birth of Roadrunner football through first-hand accounts from the people who built it, and every copy sold benefits the program.

🔼 Meet The Squad. Today, the UTSA men’s basketball spotlight is on JJ Kelly, a transfer from Ohio University. Kelly played in 31 games with 26 starts during his freshman season for the Bobcats, averaging 8.6 points and 3.3 boards in 26.6 minutes. He shot 52 percent from the field.
