Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. The UTSA baseball team recently completed a historic 2025 season that saw the Roadrunners win a school-record 47 games, capture the AAC title for the first time and advance to the first NCAA Super Regional in school history.

The impact of the Roadrunners’ impressive run in the NCAA postseason brought significant attention to the UTSA Athletics brand on a national scale. Across the UTSA Baseball and UTSA Athletics social media platforms, the two-week period generated 11.8 million combined impressions for the Roadrunners.

After capturing the NCAA Austin Regional for its first NCAA Regional Championship in program history, UTSA was the No. 4 trending sports topic nationally and the No. 7 trending topic overall nationally on X.

🔼 Bandon Or Bust. UTSA incoming freshman Kayla Black fired a 2-under-par 70 on Tuesday to win a qualifying tournament and earn a spot in the 125th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship.

Black who signed with UTSA last fall, recorded five birdies en route to her red number at a qualifier held on the 6,283-yard, par-72 FireRock Golf Club in Komoka, Ontario.

The U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship will be held on Aug. 4-10 at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Oregon.

Tracking History. A cow pasture-turned-football-field-turned-track, the University of Oregon’s historic Hayward field was built in 1919 and recently renovated. It has been the home of legends since its inception, and hosted more USA Olympic Track and Field Trials and NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships than any other venue.

To watch our ‘Runners bring their best during the NCAA Outdoor Championships on this landmark of a stage was something to behold. ICYMI—Mia Lien and Rachela Pace wrapped up their seasons by delivering Second Team All-America honors.
