Good Morning, UTSA Fam. Are you ready to be there when UTSA soccer takes on Texas? UTSA soccer will host the Longhorns in an exhibition on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Park West Athletics Complex; tickets go on sale June 18 at $27 for the general public and just $12 for UTSA soccer season ticket members.

UTSA students get free entry. The Roadrunners, fresh off the 2025 American Conference championship, also visit Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Aug. 8 before opening the regular season against Texas State on Aug. 12.

🔼 Hit The Books. UTSA women's golfers Maria Bastarrica and Lauren Rios earned 2026 CSC Academic All-District honors. Bastarrica carries a perfect 4.0 GPA as a double major in finance and economics, earning the distinction for the second straight year. Rios, a medical humanities/pre-med major with a 3.66 GPA, paced the Roadrunners with a 74.3 stroke average and earned her first career all-conference honor. Eight of the program's nine all-time Academic All-District selections have come under head coach Summer Batiste.

🔼 Meet Mia. Get to know Mia Hammonds, a junior guard for UTSA women’s hoops! During her sophomore season, Hammonds appeared in 34 games with 2 starts, averaging 6.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.

🔼 Nation’s Best. UTSA's Rowdy Creative Agency earned two Best in the Nation honors at the 2025-26 CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest. Graphic designer Jack Cisneros won for the 2026 UTSA Softball Schedule Poster and media specialist Jacob Ramirez took top honors for his UTSA Softball Puerto Vallarta Recap in the Short Form Videos/Reels category. Student creative Sebastian Castro earned Runner Up in the Best of Student Workers category, while Matthew Guth and Dylan Trevino also picked up national recognition.
