Good Morning, UTSA Fam. Jemuel Miller capped his comeback season with a sixth-place finish in the triple jump at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, earning outdoor First Team All-America honors for the first time. The Barbados native hit 16.45 meters on his third attempt for his best career postseason performance and the highest outdoor national finish in UTSA history for the event.

UTSA finished nationals with four total All-America honors: Miller (First Team), Ida Breigan (Second Team, long jump), Daisy Monie (Honorable Mention, shot put), and Martín Kouyoumdjian (Honorable Mention, 400 meters).

🔼 Lock In Now. Season tickets for the defending American Conference Tournament Champion soccer team are on sale now for just $70 for 11 home matches. Check out the full schedule here, then secure your tickets here.

🔼 Sparking Change. UTSA Athletics' First Gen campaign earned the 2025-26 CSC ChangeMaker Innovation Award at the organization's annual convention in Las Vegas. UTSA was the first school in the nation to introduce specially designed jersey patches for first-generation college student-athletes, a launch that generated more than 65,000 social media impressions on day one and drew national attention from ESPN's SportsCenter.
With more than one-third of UTSA student-athletes identifying as first generation, the campaign extends beyond branding to include a dedicated website with resources, personal stories, and programming. UTSA was one of three schools honored alongside Boise State and St. John's.
🔼 On Par. UTSA men’s golf’s Francisco Solorza tied for fourth at a local qualifier last week at The Woodlands Country Club to advance to a U.S. Amateur Sectional Qualifier! Solorza, a native of Mexico, finished three-under par.
