🔼 Menin Definitely Worth Mentioning. Competition kicked off on Wednesday at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships and the evening saw the lone Roadrunner from the UTSA men’s team in action, as Hugo Menin collected All-America Honorable Mention for his performance in the 400-meter hurdles semifinal at historic Hayward Field.
The senior transfer made his NCAA Outdoor Nationals debut with a 50.98 clocking, finishing 17th overall in the semifinal to earn All-American Honorable Mention.
Redshirt freshman Mia Lien will begin her heptathlon journey today, running into Saturday. Senior Rachela Pace is also slated for the triple jump tomorrow evening.

UTSA's first football game was played on Sept. 3, 2011, against Northeastern State. The game was held at the Alamodome. UTSA won the inaugural game with a score of 31-3. The game drew a record-breaking 56,743 fans, the highest attendance for an NCAA Division I FCS start-up program.
