Good Morning, UTSA Fam. UTSA sends four athletes to the NCAA Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field this week, beginning today with Martín Kouyoumdjian in the 400-meter semifinal. The Chilean national record holder will look to crack Friday's nine-man final.

Thursday features Ida Breigan in the long jump, where the four-time All-American enters ranked third nationally at 6.71 meters, and Daisy Monie making her first outdoor nationals appearance in the shot put. Three-time All-American Jemuel Miller closes out UTSA's schedule Friday in the triple jump, entering 10th nationally with a school-record 16.69 meters. Field events stream on ESPN+ with the main meet on ESPN and ESPN2.

🔼 Mark Your Calendar. UTSA volleyball released its 27-match 2026 schedule, featuring 13 home dates at the Convocation Center. The Roadrunners open Aug. 28 at a tournament hosted by Arkansas and will face two Power Four opponents in Arkansas and Houston. The 16-match American Conference schedule begins Sept. 25 against Tulane at home and closes Nov. 15 with Memphis. Head coach Carol Price-Torok enters her fifth season with a returning core that includes Ally Tribe, Caroline Tredwell, Megan Hawkins, and Giada Obregon. Season tickets are on sale now starting at $65.

🔼 Welcome to UTSA. UTSA women's golf added transfer Lydia Lin from Northern Arizona to its 2026 signing class. A native of China, Lin competed in five tournaments as a freshman with the Lumberjacks, highlighted by a tie for 11th at the Red Rocks Invitational and a tie for 16th at the Big Sky Championships. Lin won consecutive Optimist International Junior titles in 2022 and 2023 and joins previously signed Miah Wanserski and Yiwei Zhao.
