๐Ÿ”ผ Back To Back. UTSA's menโ€™s golf Sam Acharya successfully defended his title at the 12th Nepal International Amateur Golf Championship, firing a 9-under 207 at Gokarna Golf Club in his hometown of Kathmandu to win by four strokes. The rising sophomore built a five-shot lead after a 6-under 66 in round two before closing with an even-par final round. Acharya won the same event last year by 10 shots. In his freshman season with the Roadrunners, he placed fourth at the Golden Nugget Invitational and helped UTSA claim the team title at the Military City Collegiate.

๐Ÿ”ผ Welcome to UTSA. UTSA men's basketball added 6-foot-6 transfer guard Preston Turner as its fifth spring signing for the 2026-27 season. Turner shot 44.8 percent from three at Eastern Illinois last season, leading the Panthers with 43 triples in 31 games. The Missouri native previously earned First Team All-Region 16 honors at Mineral Area College, where he averaged 13.7 points as a sophomore and helped the Cardinals reach No. 2 nationally with the top scoring defense in the NJCAA.
