Good Morning, UTSA Fam. UTSA sends 13 athletes to the NCAA West First Round in Fayetteville, Ark., headlined by four-time All-American Ida Breigan, who ranks third nationally in the long jump at 6.74 meters and is competing in her third straight regional. Triple jumper Jemuel Miller enters seventh in the West after setting a school record of 16.56 meters to win the American Conference title, just one centimeter off the Barbados national record.

The Roadrunners boast three long jump qualifiers and a women's 4x400 relay that earned an American Conference championship. Hammer thrower Lauralyn Clifford also reset both the UTSA and Saint Lucia national records multiple times this season. The competition runs today through May 30 on ESPN+.

🔼 Roadrunners Ace The Classroom. UTSA placed five softball players on the 2026 CSC Academic All-District team. Sabrina Wick led the way with a 3.95 GPA in kinesiology to go along with a team-best .370 batting average and a first-team All-American Conference selection. Meredith Schmitt earned the honor for the second straight year with a 3.84 GPA, while Skylar Rucker (3.83, psychology), Reagan Stoudt (3.73, biology), and Taryn Madlock (3.51, medical humanities) each received the distinction for the first time. Madlock added punch at the plate with a team-high 10 home runs and 38 RBI.
