Good Morning, UTSA Fam. UTSA baseball erupted for eight runs in the first inning and never looked back, crushing Texas State 19-4 in seven innings last night at Roadrunner Field. Aidan Eshelman led the way with a career-high three hits and four RBI, while Caden Miller launched his seventh home run of the season to cap the opening frame and finished with three RBI. Jordan Ballin added two hits, two walks, two runs, and two RBI, and the Roadrunners drew 14 free passes on the night.

The win was UTSA's fifth run-rule victory of the season and set up a crucial three-game home finale against UAB beginning tomorrow at 6 p.m. on ESPN+, with the American Conference regular-season title still on the line.
