🤙🏼 And much, much more!
Your Wendy’s Woman of the Month is Victoria Schuldt!
Schuldt garnered all-conference honors after wrapping up her debut campaign by tying for fifth place with a 3-over 219 (72-73-74) at the American Conference Championship. The true freshman from Hamburg, Germany, was the top freshman finisher at the conference tournament and it marked her third top-15 showing of the season.
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 On Track. UTSA track & field is back in action today and tomorrow at the Alumni Muster hosted by Texas A&M. The squad will face a deep field that includes Baylor, Iowa State, Penn State, and host Texas A&M before taking a rest week ahead of the American Conference Championships in Denton from May 14-16. Friday's schedule is limited to the discus due to weather concerns, with a full slate of field and running events set for Saturday.

🔼 Season Finale On Deck. UTSA softball heads to East Carolina for a three-game series to close out American Conference play, with a weather-adjusted doubleheader Friday at 3 p.m. CT followed by a Sunday finale at noon. The Roadrunners sit seventh in the league at 11-13, looking to gain ground before the conference tournament. Sophomore Sabrina Wick was red-hot against Charlotte last weekend, hitting .667 with five RBI, while freshman pitcher Arlette Hernandez continues her workhorse season; she ranks ninth nationally in games started, 12th in innings pitched, and 35th in strikeouts. ECU enters at 13-11 in conference play with dangerous power led by Emma Jackson's 21 homers and 54 RBI.

🔼 Mr. Basketball Arrives. UTSA men's basketball added its second transfer of the offseason in point guard KJ Tenner from Murray State. The 2024 Tennessee Mr. Basketball in Class 4A, Tenner helped the Racers to a 20-13 record and an NIT berth last season while shooting 45.6 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from three. The Memphis native was a scoring machine in high school at Cordova, reaching 1,000 career points in just 42 games, the fastest in school history, and leading the city in scoring in back-to-back seasons. He started his college career at West Virginia before transferring to Murray State, and now joins Josiah LeGree in Coach Austin Claunch's retooled backcourt.
🤙🏼 ONE BIG THING
