UTSA is set to host its sixth AAC series starting at 6 p.m. tonight against the Memphis Tigers.

Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. UTSA is set to host its sixth AAC series starting at 6 p.m. tonight against the Memphis Tigers. The second game will begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 26, and the series finale will start at noon on Sunday, Apr. 27, at Roadrunner Field in San Antonio, Texas.

UTSA has played just three games against the Tigers. The three games were played last year in a weekend series in Memphis, Tennessee. The Roadrunners brought home the series win by defeating the Tigers in game one, 9-6, and game three, 7-5.

Your Wendy’s Woman of the Month is UTSA women’s golf team member Morgan Ellison! Top-15 finishes by Ellison and Lauren Rios guided UTSA to a seventh-place finish at the recent American Athletic Conference Championship. Ellison turned in UTSA’s best score in the final round with a 1-over 73 that featured birdies on the 476-yard, par-5 seventh and 138-yard, par-3 17th holes.

🔼 Softball But Make It Themed. The UTSA softball team will host Tulsa in a three-game AAC series across the weekend with a Fiesta-themed contest today at 4 p.m. CT kicking off the festivities. Saturday will start at noon and serve as Fan Appreciation Day, ahead of Senior Day on Sunday at 11 a.m.

The Roadrunners (19-29, 4-17 The American) split earlier in the week, first taking down Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 8-2, before falling to Tarleton State, 8-4. Senior Camryn Robillard and sophomore Madison Lenton led the way at the plate in the win over the Islanders.

🔼 Football F.O.M.O. is Real. It’s not time for panic but, well, maybe there should be some mild concern, as tomorrow is the deadline for football season tickets!

🔼 Southpaw From San Antonio. UTSA MBB coach Austin Claunch has announced the first post-season transfer addition to his second recruiting class with the Roadrunners. Leading off the spring signings, former Wagner High School guard Austin Nunez will join the Roadrunners for Claunch’s second season in San Antonio.

A 6-foot-2, 175-pound left-handed guard joining UTSA from his second stint at Arizona State, Nunez is the son of eight-time All-American and UTSA Hall of Famer Tameka Roberts-Nunez. An injury forced him to redshirt in 2024-24 with the Sun Devils after only four games.
