Plus: Coach Pittman extended.
🤙The Official Newsletter For UTSA Athletics, brought to you by La Panaderia
Good Morning, UTSA Fam.

UTSA women's soccer head coach Derek Pittman has signed a contract extension through 2030, keeping the program's winningest coach in San Antonio after another championship season. Pittman guided the Roadrunners to the 2025 American Conference Championship, toppling NCAA third-ranked Memphis on penalty kicks before defeating Rice in overtime to clinch.

🏐 Spring Saturday
🤙🏼 And much, much more!
📈 STOCK UP

🔼 San Antonio’s Own. Meet Ben Rios, a born-and-raised San Antonio native and UTSA football lineman. A Criminal Justice/Communications major graduating this May, Rios plans to pursue a Master's in Global Affairs before following his parents into law. He chose UTSA after the Roadrunners won the conference championship during his senior year of high school, wanting to keep San Antonio's best talent home. Fun fact: he once memorized the first 858 digits of Pi in exchange for skipping his math final.

🔼 Spring Saturday. UTSA volleyball hosts its second spring exhibition tournament Saturday, April 18 at the Convocation Center, with free admission starting at 9 a.m. The Roadrunners will play three matches: against Texas State (9 a.m.), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (10 a.m.) and Angelo State (noon).
