Good Morning, UTSA Fam. UTSA football has unveiled its 2026 home game themes for six Alamodome matchups. The season opens Sept. 5 with a Navy Out against UTRGV, followed by a Hispanic Heritage game vs. Colorado State (Sept. 26), Lights Out vs. South Florida (Oct. 8), Salute to Armed Forces and Veterans presented by USAA vs. Navy (Oct. 17), Homecoming vs. North Texas (Nov. 14) and Senior Day to close the season against Tulsa. Season tickets start at $110 and are on sale now!

🔼 On Deck. The UTSA Baseball team returns home for a three-game American Conference series against South Florida at Roadrunner Field. Game times are 2 p.m. this afternoon, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Click here to purchase tickets.

🔼 Building the Program. UTSA Athletics has promoted Jared Ka'aiohelo to Director of Sports Performance for Football and Reese Vogel to Senior Associate Director of Sports Performance. Ka'aiohelo brings more than 25 years of strength and conditioning experience, including stints at Rice, Kansas and Central Oklahoma, and a professional playing career that included a 1996 World Bowl Championship with the Scottish Claymores. Vogel joined UTSA in 2025 and has been instrumental in developing the football program's performance model. Two additional assistant sports performance coaches, Zachary Hill and Jamie Tago, were also recently hired to work directly with the football program.

🔼 On Your Mark. UTSA track & field sends 30 athletes to College Station for Texas A&M's 44 Farms Team Invitational, April 9-11 at E.B. Cushing Stadium. The Roadrunners come in with momentum after a strong showing at the Texas Relays, where Daisy Monie swept the shot put and discus, Ida Breigan won the long jump and reached No. 2 nationally, and Jemuel Miller earned triple jump bronze. The field also includes Arkansas, Texas, Michigan State, Boise State, and host Texas A&M, with select events airing live on SEC+.
