Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. The UTSA softball team will open American Athletic Conference play tonight at 6 p.m. CT, as they are set to host East Carolina. The squads will meet once more on Saturday at noon, ahead of the finale Sunday at 11 a.m.

The Roadrunners (12-7) enter league play with their best record since going 13-8 before a shortened season in 2020. They last went 3-2 at the Birds Up Bash with victories over Houston and Le Moyne while falling to the Cougars and No. RV Boise State.

🔼 So You Call Yourself a Fan. It’s time to prove it! The American Athletic Conference regular-season champion and top-seeded UTSA Roadrunners will embark on the AAC Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas, March 10-12. There will be a number of opportunities for fans to cheer on their Roadrunners outside of the games. From the team and hotel sendoffs to alumni gatherings and watch parties, the ways for your to show your support are nearly endless.

🔼 Dozen Dubs Time? The Roadrunners baseball team—currently on an 11-game winning streak—hosts Texas Southern in a three-game series at 6 p.m. CT tonight, 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, and 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, at Roadrunner Field.

UTSA and Texas Southern have played three games total, with the Roadrunners holding a 3-0 record against the Tigers.

🔼 From Norway, With Love. UTSA women’s track and field underclassmen Mia Lien and Ida Breigan both contributed 36 points toward UTSA’s AAC Runner-Up total of 92.5 points at the AAC Indoor Championships. League officials have announced that the Norwegian duo will share the honor of 2025 AAC Women’s Indoor Most Outstanding Field Performance.

In addition, their performances have earned both a spot in the NCAA Indoor Championships, so their next move is to Virginia Beach, Virginia, March 14-15.

🔼 Time to Shine. UTSA will hold its annual Pro Day at 11 a.m. CT on Monday, March 24, at the Roadrunner Athletics Center of Excellence. The event is open to the public to watch from restricted areas on the practice fields.

Thirteen former football student-athletes are scheduled to meet with and participate in various drills and workouts in front of NFL and other professional league team personnel.
