📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Road Win. The Roadrunners clawed back from a 3-0 deficit to beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 7-5 last night for their first road win of the season and fourth straight overall. Christian Hallmark's go-ahead two-run homer in the sixth broke a 3-3 tie, and Diego Diaz delivered the go-ahead single in the ninth after the Islanders tied it at 5-5. Sam Simmons closed it out on 12 pitches to improve to 3-0 with a 0.69 ERA. UTSA's 11-1 start is the program's best this millennium; only the 1994 squad started better at 13-1. Next: at New Mexico State on March 6 at 7 p.m. CT.

🔼 Game Day. The Roadrunners (13-14, 8-8 American) host Tulsa (18-10, 10-6) at the Convocation Center in their final home game of the season, live on ESPN+ tonight at 6:30 p.m. UTSA topped the Golden Hurricane 66-47 earlier this season behind 18 points from Idara Udo and 17 from Cheyenne Rowe. Most recently, the Roadrunners knocked off Memphis 67-55, with Udo again leading the way with 18 points and eight rebounds. Full preview here.

🔼 Teed Off. UTSA men’s golf posted a 38-under 826 to finish second at the Golden Nugget Invitational in Lake Charles, Louisiana, demolishing the previous school record set in 2014. Freshman Joshua Hong led the way with a 13-under 203, tying for third, while fellow freshman Sam Acharya (10-under 206) finished fourth and redshirt junior Brayden Bare (9-under 207) tied for fifth. Host Lamar won the event by just three shots. It's UTSA's third consecutive top-three finish. Next up: the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate in Tucson, March 16-17.
