Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. Via a 60-42 victory over FAU—a record-breaking 25th win of the season—on a Senior Day Saturday, the UTSA WBB team claimed an outright AAC regular season championship as well as the No. 1 seed in the American Women’s Championship. UTSA has gone 13-0 to finish undefeated in The Convo for the first time since 1984-85.

🔼 Two Dozen Tennis Dubs. UTSA wins in hard fought battle against UNT 4-2 on Saturday, Mar. 1 at the UTSA Tennis Center in San Antonio, Texas.
The Roadrunners are 14-1 to start the season and undefeated at home. Their one loss came against AAC foe Tulane. UTSA has a 6-0 home record with an 8-0 road record and a 0-1 neutral record.

🔼 Is This Heaven? No, it’s the Bird Bath. UTSA picks up its tenth straight win, defeating Youngstown State 13-2 on Sunday at Roadrunner Field in seven innings. UTSA is now 10-0 at home after its 10-game homestand.
Caden Miller set a new individual game high with four walks on the day. Mason Lytle drove in two runs today for his sixth multi-RBI game of the season. James Taussig also had two RBIs this game for his first multi-RBI game of the season. Pitcher Conor Myles’ eight strikeouts were his most this season.

🔼 HOOZAH! UTSA All-America cornerback Zah Frazier shined this week at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center.
Frazier went through interviews with NFL personnel, exams, meetings and media interviews earlier this week. On Friday, Frazier took to the field for drills and workouts. He posted official times of 4.36 seconds in the 40-yard dash with a 10-yard split of 1.51, 4.26 in the 20-yard shuttle and 7.00 in the 3-cone drill, which was the second-fastest time among the cornerbacks. He measured 36 feet, five inches in the vertical jump and 10 feet, six inches in the broad jump.

🔼 Senior Day Smackdown. The new month brought new fortunes for the UTSA men’s basketball team (11-17, 5-11 AAC), snapping a six-game skid while running away with Sunday night’s victory over Rice (13-17, 4-13 AAC) at the Convo.
Fueled by a combination attack from Primo Spears and Marcus Millender that amounted to 50 points, the Roadrunners rained 11 of the team’s 14 threes on the visiting Owls in the second half to deliver an 84-56 victory – the team’s largest conference margin of victory this season. Prior to the game, UTSA honored three seniors, Spears, Damari Monsanto and Raekwon Horton.

🔼 They Put a Bow On the Birds Up Bash. The UTSA softball team successfully concluded the Birds Up Bash, taking down Le Moyne 5-2 in the tournament consolation contest at Roadrunner Field on Sunday.
The Roadrunners (12-7) topped the Dolphins (2-13) as redshirt freshman Madison Collins (1-3) earned the first victory of her collegiate career, while newcomer Ava Eldridge picked up a save (2). Freshman Skylar Rucker drove in two for the squad, as sophomore Kalee Rochinski and senior Jaylen Prichard joined her with RBIs.

🔼 The Women Went For It. Coming just 3.5 points shy of the program’s first AAC Championship, the UTSA women’s track and field team put together some major performances on Saturday in the final day at the AAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. The Roadrunner women accumulated 92.5 points and only dropped behind a 96-point Tulane squad.
The men’s team gathered 50 points and finished seventh in the field. The Roadrunners added three additional individual conference titles to bring the weekend total to five, increasing the medal count by seven to 12 overall. UTSA also notched its third and fourth school records of the meet.
