Good Morning, UTSA Fam. UTSA Athletics has unveiled a new “Adopt-A-Team” experience for The Rowdy’s, a reimagined student-athlete awards celebration set for May 6 at Pedrotti’s Ranch, as part of a final push to secure limited remaining tables.

The Rowdy’s will bring together more than 400 UTSA student-athletes, business leaders and fans for an evening of recognition, entertainment and community connection, hosted by Texas comedian Steve Treviño.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Got The Win. UTSA baseball improved to 18-7 on Tuesday, beating Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at Roadrunner Field, 3-1. Lane Haworth and Christian Hallmark both drove in runs for the Roadrunners, with seven pitchers combining to allow just six hits in the win.

🔼 Comeback Complete. UTSA softball erased a 4-2 deficit to Prairie View on Tuesday, scoring four runs in the sixth inning to win, 6-4. Makayla Madrid was 3-for-3 with an RBI, while Kaylie Olivarez picked up her first win of the season in relief.

🔼 Homework Hero. UTSA women’s hoops’ Emilia Dannebauer has been named an Academic All-District honoree, becoming the fifth player in program history to earn the honor and the first since Hailey Atwood and Sidney Love in 2023-24.

🔼 Definitely Detlefsen. UTSA baseball’s Drew Detlefsen has been named the American Conference Player of the Week after a remarkable 12-hit performance across four games last week. Detlefsen went 12-for-16 with three doubles, a home run and 5 RBI while also scoring seven runs.
