The UTSA baseball team defeated No. 8 Texas 8-7 in 12 innings on Tuesday night, the team's third win over a ranked opponent.

Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. The UTSA baseball team defeated No. 8 Texas 8-7 in 12 innings on Tuesday night in Austin, Texas. This was the Roadrunners’ third win over a ranked opponent this year. The squad is now 3-2 against ranked opponents this year.
UTSA tallied 45 at-bats for a season-high. Caden Miller had two homers in the game. This is the third time a Roadrunner has hit at least two home runs in a game. He now has five multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games. Mason Lytle had three hits on the day for his 13th multi-hit game.

🔼 Jack Of All Trades. Jack Wehman tied for 12th place to lead UTSA to a 15th-place finish at the All-American Intercollegiate, which wrapped up on Tuesday at the Golf Club of Houston.
Wehman carded an even-par 216 to end up in a five-way tie for 12th, notching a season-best finish in the process. After opening the 54-hole event with rounds of 71 and 74 on Monday, the senior turned in his second 1-under 71 of the week to jump 10 spots up the leaderboard during the final round.
The 12th-place tie marked Wehman’s best finish since posting back-to-back top 10s in February 2024 at the Bentwater Invitational (T-8th) and Dorado Beach Collegiate (T-5th).

🔼 Donuts, Anyone? The Roadrunners swept UTRGV 7-0 on Tuesday, March 18, at the UTSA Tennis Center.
UTSA is now 16-2 overall with an 8-1 home record, 8-0 road record and 0-1 neutral record. The Roadrunners’ only two losses have come against AAC opponents.
Picking up six singles wins on the day UTSA improves to 64-22 on the year. With two doubles wins the Roadrunners are now 30-15. Arina Babenko leads the team in singles victories as she is a perfect 15-0 on the year.

🔼 Smith Stadium Setback. The UTSA softball team suffered a 13-4 defeat via the run rule at the hands of Lipscomb in nonconference action at Smith Stadium on Tuesday.
A trio of squad members posted multiple hits, including senior Lindsey Davis, junior Katia Reyes, and sophomore Caton Letbetter. Additionally, senior Jaylen Prichard drove in a pair of runs, while redshirt freshman Makayla Madrid and Letbetter joined her in logging RBIs.

For the second consecutive season, the UTSA women's basketball team will compete in a national postseason tournament, with the squad receiving an automatic berth into the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT). UTSA is set to take on Gonzaga in the First Round at 8 pm. CT on Thursday, Mar. 20 in Spokane, Washington.
This will be UTSA's fourth time playing in a postseason tournament and its first appearance in the WBIT after previously competing in the WNIT in 2024, and making the NCAA Tournament following Southland Conference Tournament Championships in 2008 and 2009.
