🤙 The Official Newsletter For UTSA Athletics, brought to you by Cowboy’s AC & Heating
Good Morning, UTSA Fam. UTSA Athletics will celebrate Let's Go 2-1-0 Day tomorrow with a campus-wide celebration honoring the bond between the Roadrunners and the city. The day includes a blood drive, a 5:30 p.m. pep rally, and UTSA women's basketball hosting Temple at 6:30 p.m. (featuring free shirts, pizza for students, and a performance by rapper Lil Lucky). Student-athletes across all sports will also participate in a Day of Service, making dog toys for shelters, cards for hospital patients, and friendship bracelets for the community.

🔼 On The Glass. UTSA dominated the boards and cruised to a 66-47 road win over Tulsa on Saturday at the Reynolds Center. The Roadrunners (11-11, 6-5 American) out-rebounded the Golden Hurricane (16-7, 8-3 American) by 16 and controlled the paint, as Idara Udo poured in a season-high 18 points while Cheyenne Rowe added 17 points and nine rebounds. UTSA broke open a tight halftime game with an 11-2 run to start the third quarter and never looked back.
🔼 Meet The Team. Get to know Sydney Bryant, one of the newest additions to UTSA volleyball!

🔼 New Records. Jemuel Miller obliterated his own UTSA triple jump record on Saturday at the Charlie Thomas Invitational, launching 16.42m to win the event and post the fifth-best NCAA mark this season. The Barbados native smashed his previous school record in the final round after already leading at 15.97m; his new mark also stands as the second-longest in American Conference history. Freshman Jocelyn Karry added a personal-best 9:56.81 in the 3,000-meter to finish seventh, while Waylon McKenzie threw a career-best 17.59m in the weight throw.
