🔼 He Answered the Call. Cornerback Zah Frazier has earned an invite to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine.
Frazier wrapped up his UTSA career this past season by earning All-America accolades from two different publications—being named to Phil Steele’s Third Team and honorable mention recognition by CBS Sports.
A first-team All-American Athletic Conference selection, Frazier finished second in the FBS with a school-record six interceptions in 2024. He turned in a trio of two-INT games, all coming during league play.
🔼 Football F.O.M.O. is the Worst Kind of F.O.M.O. Fear of missing out is a real thing. Secure your UTSA football season tickets now and be part of the Alamodome action. Experience the excitement of every touchdown, every win and the 210 Triangle of Toughness. When We Win, San Antonio Wins!

🔼 A Hubbub On the Mound. The Roadrunners took down Houston Christian 12-1 in seven innings for their sixth win of the season on Tuesday. UTSA has now outscored its opponents 53-7 in the past five games, and the squad is now 5-0 at home.
James Hubbard got his second start on the mound for the Roadrunners and came out firing on all cylinders as he struck out the first three batters he saw. He continued his dominance for four more innings, only giving up three hits and one run. Mason Lytle picked up his sixth multi-hit game with a 3-for-5 outing and his third multi-RBI game with two on the night.
⚾️ And, ahem, men deserve their flowers, too. 🌺 👇🏼
A successful weekend gets noticed! 😉

🔼 Prichard = #PluckEm. When Jaylen Prichard was looking for a new home after playing two seasons at Eastern Illinois, the 5-foot-2 utility player was in search of a program and a coach that matched her toughness and competitive mindset.
She found exactly what she sought following the 2023 season when she spoke to Vann Stuedeman, UTSA’s newly hired softball coach, who brought with her an impressive track record of success at Alabama, Mississippi State and Illinois. Hailing from the Southeast Texas town of Liberty, she was also eager for the opportunity to play close to home.
Go here for more on Prichard, who Coach Stuedeman calls “the definition of "#PluckEm.”

🔼 Terrific Twirling Recognized. Following a stellar weekend at the Roadrunner Classic, freshman Kaylie Olivarez was named American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.
Olivarez was dominant, going 2-0 out of the pen with 5.0 innings pitched and eight strikeouts. She tossed 1.1 frames and twirled three strikeouts without allowing a hit in a victory over Michigan State before fanning three over 2.2 innings in a win against St. Thomas. The Hallettsville, Texas native also saw action against Sam Houston, striking out the side in an inning of work.

🔼 Looking to Stay Hot. The UTSA softball team is set for a midweek bout against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, as the squads are set to meet at 3 p.m. today inside the confines of Chapman Field.
The Roadrunners (9-4) are hot off the Roadrunner Classic, where they bested Michigan State and St. Thomas. Skylar Rucker led the way at the plate, boasting a .429 batting average with three hits, two walks, and an RBI.

🔼 Lunging Up the Leaderboard. Led by three under-par scorecards on Tuesday and a 12th-place finish by Daniela Abonce, UTSA moved up three places into ninth on the final day of the Chevron Collegiate in Houston (par 72/6,203 yards).
Entering the day in 12th place in the 16-team field that included seven nationally ranked squads, the ‘Runners registered their second straight 2-under 286 behind red numbers from Abonce (70), Morgan Ellison (71) and Olivia Williams (71) to surge past No. 33 Iowa State (+1), Maryland (E) and Tulsa (-2). The back-to-back 2-under par rounds helped UTSA to a 5-under 859, a season-best 54-hole total that is now tied for seventh on the program’s all-time list and fifth in school history versus par.

🔼 Set Up For Success. Kaelen Dulany is in a tie for fifth place and UTSA is in seventh after the second round of the Desert Intercollegiate on Tuesday in Palm Desert.
Dulany is one of six golfers with a share of fifth at 7-under-par 137, three shots off the pace set by Colorado Christian’s Sungyeop Cho with 18 holes left to play on Wednesday. His 137 matches the fourth-best 36-hole total ever posted by a Roadrunner.
