Good Morning, UTSA Fam. History keeps getting made on Roadrunner Field. UTSA baseball completed a three-game sweep of Dallas Baptist on Sunday with a 6-3 win to stay undefeated on the season. Kendall Dove delivered five strong scoreless innings, and Josh Arquette paced the offense with two hits and two RBI, including a key single in the fifth. Gunnar Brown locked it down in relief with four innings and earned his first save of 2026.

The series drew 3,048 fans across three games, making it the highest-attended series in Roadrunner Field history. Through seven games, UTSA is hitting a sizzling .374 with 81 runs scored. Up next: the first road test of the season at Texas State tomorrow (6 p.m., ESPN+).

🔼 Tune In. Roadrunner Nation is tuning in! Fall ESPN+ numbers show UTSA soccer viewership up 81.4 percent year-over-year, with the TCU match ranking fourth-most viewed in the American Conference (4,861 viewers). UTSA was the only American Conference school to air a fall softball game on ESPN+, drawing 3,211 viewers against Texas State. Volleyball averaged 1,327 viewers across 12 home broadcasts. The Roadrunners also led the conference in "shoulder programming," becoming the only school in the nation to live stream weekly soccer and volleyball press conferences on ESPN+.

🔼 Tee Off. The Roadrunners play host today and tomorrow to the Military City Collegiate presented by USAA, a 54-hole event at TPC San Antonio's Canyons Course. It's the seventh time since 2018 UTSA men’s golf has hosted a tournament at TPC, but the first on the Canyons layout. True freshman Joshua Hong leads the squad with a 72.0 stroke average and two top-10 finishes, including a tie for third at the recent Compadres Collegiate in Mexico. A 13-team field features the likes of Central Michigan, DePaul, High Point, and Western Kentucky. Tee times start at 8 a.m. both days, with 36 holes today and 18 on Tuesday. Admission is free, and live scoring is at scoreboard.clippd.com.

🔼 Next Up. UTSA women’s golf returns from a three-week break today and tomorrow at the Chevron Collegiate, hosted by Houston at the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas. It's a loaded 54-hole field featuring five ranked teams, including No. 3 Oregon, No. 6 Arkansas, and No. 11 Mississippi State. Senior Daniela Abonce leads UTSA with a 72.93 stroke average and six par-or-better rounds this season. Lauren Rios (73.73 avg) has been steady, highlighted by a tie for third at the Red Raider Invitational. Shotgun starts at 8 AM both days, with live video on babygrandegolf.com.
