Good Morning, UTSA Fam. UTSA Athletics has teamed up with San Antonio bakery-café La Panadería in a groundbreaking five-year partnership. The deal includes several firsts: La Panadería becomes the first brand ever to appear on a collegiate cheer uniform and the first official UTSA Football practice jersey patch sponsor in program history.

Plus, La Panadería created the "Official Concha of UTSA Athletics" — a UTSA orange concha filled with Nutella. This marks UTSA's record-setting 29th new sponsor this year.

🔼 Along The Way. Beth Noteware, UTSA's Assistant Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Academic Services, has touched the lives of many Roadrunner student-athletes throughout her career. During Saturday's UTSA Women's Basketball Play4Kay game on January 31, 2026, Noteware opened up about her personal battle with cancer and the strength she found along the way.

🔼 On Par. UTSA women’s golf senior Daniela Abonce closed the spring season opener in style, carding a 1-under 71 in Saturday's final round to finish T-13th (1-over 217) at the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club. Playing in her native Mexico, the Veracruz native notched five birdies and earned her third top-15 finish of the season, finishing just one shot out of the top 10 in a field of 60+ competitors. Lauren Rios tied for 23rd (222), while freshman Victoria Schuldt led the team with seven birdies on her way to a T-40th finish. UTSA placed 12th as a team (904), just one shot out of 10th in a loaded field featuring seven ranked opponents. Next up: the Chevron Collegiate (Feb. 23-24) in Houston.
