📈 STOCK UP

Run Rule. Three Roadrunners went yard as UTSA softball cruised to a 9-1 run-rule win over Houston Christian at Roadrunner Field. Samantha Mundine got things started with an early homer, Demiree Stafford added a solo shot in the fourth, and Caton Letbetter walked it off with a three-run blast in the fifth. Makayla Madrid went 3-for-3 at the plate, and freshman pitcher Arlette Hernandez (3-1) was dominant, allowing just one hit over three innings. UTSA hosts the Roadrunner Classic this weekend with Stephen F. Austin, Northern Colorado, and UMass Lowell in town.

🔼 The Rowdy’s. Mark your calendars, Roadrunner fans! UTSA's annual student-athlete awards show, The Rowdy's, returns May 6 at Pedrotti's Ranch, and this year it's going big with comedian Steve Treviño as host. The event will still spotlight UTSA's top performers, but new fan-voted award categories will let supporters get in on the action. Tickets, tables, and sponsorship details are coming soon.

🔼 Black History Month. UTSA women’s golf coach Summer Batiste talks about what Black History Month means to her and highlights why Muhammad Ali has been such an incredible influence in her life.

🔼 Turning Heads. UTSA men’s basketball’s Jamir Simpson earned an American Conference Honorable Mention for his outstanding performances against East Carolina and Charlotte!

🔼 On The Diamond. Jamir Simpson isn’t the only Roadrunner turning heads in the American Conference! Baseball’s Josh Arquette picked up American Honorable Mention Player of the Week recognition after a strong debut for the Roadrunners last weekend.

🔼 Twice As Nice. UTSA softball had two standout performances last weekend, with Arlette Hernandez and Taryn Madlock both earning American Player of the Week Honorable Mentions!
