🔼 That Makes Seven. The UTSA women's basketball team dominated Sam Houston on Saturday with a 79-36 score line representing the Roadrunners’ largest margin of victory against an NCAA Division I opponent since the 2007-08 season.
Redshirt senior Jordyn Jenkins logged her fourth double-double of the season, tallying 22 points with 10 rebounds and three steals. Also performing well, sophomore Idara Udo scored 15 with eight boards, while junior Sidney Love charted 10 points with five rebounds.
🔼 Tough Test. The UTSA men’s basketball team gave the highly-touted Arkansas team everything it could handle in the first half of Saturday’s non-conference matchup at Bud Walton Arena. Despite a stalwart defensive effort that provided a five-point halftime advantage, the Razorbacks turned the tides in the second half and pulled away to down the Roadrunners, 75-60.
Leading a UTSA squad that shot 40.7 percent overall and saw eight players score, Primo Spears logged his eighth consecutive double-digit scoring performance at 19 on 8-of-19 shooting.
