Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. UTSA will make its fifth straight and sixth overall bowl appearance today in their first contest against Coastal Carolina in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. Kickoff is set for 10 a.m. CT at Brooks Stadium in Conway, South Carolina, and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.

The Roadrunners are 1-4 all-time in bowl games after defeating Marshall, 35-17, in the 2023 Frisco Bowl. They’re the designated home team for the game that will be played at the Chanticleers’ home stadium.

🔼 Rub Elbows With Fellow ‘Runners. UTSA Athletics and Playfly Sports’ UTSA Sports Properties have announced that Little Woodrow’s Braun will host the official UTSA Watch Party for the Myrtle Beach Bowl on Monday, Dec. 23.

UTSA fans who cannot make the trip to South Carolina are invited out to Little Woodrow’s Braun to cheer on the Roadrunners in their fifth straight and sixth overall bowl appearance. There will be bucket drink specials, tasty eats and free UTSA/Little Woodrow’s koozies available for those in attendance.

🔼 Like Herding Cats.  On Saturday, the UTSA women's basketball team used a stellar second quarter to take down Texas State, 70-54, in the Battle of I-35 in their final non-conference contest. The team's 9-2 mark represents the program's best-ever entering league play. Additionally, the win was UTSA's first against Texas State since 2016.

The Roadrunners bested the Bobcats as the squad shot 49% from the field to the opposition's 35%. UTSA also managed 18 more rebounds and 26 more points in the paint en route to the victory.
