Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. UTSA Athletics is set to host a Hoops for the Holidays doubleheader tomorrow at the Convo. The MBB team plays host to Southwestern Adventist at 12:00 PM CST and the WBB squad welcomes UT Arlington at 4:00.

Fans can take advantage of a special ticket offer and purchase a ticket to both games for a combined $10 price.

🔼 It’d Be Hard Not to Dig This. The Collegiate Sports Communicators announced its 2024 Volleyball Academic All-District awards on Tuesday, with juniors Mia Soerensen and Caroline Krueger receiving recognition for the second straight year, while senior Faye Wilbricht and sophomore Peyton Turner are first-time picks.    

🔼 Not in the Card(s). The UTSA women's basketball team rallied from down 15 in the fourth quarter but could not deliver the final blow as they fell to a receiving votes Stanford squad, 62-57, on Monday at Maples Pavilion.

The Roadrunners (7-2, 0-0 The American) fell to the #RV Cardinal (8-3, 0-1 ACC) despite outscoring Stanford 22-15 in the final frame. UTSA out-rebounded the Atlantic Coast Conference opposition 43-37 and saw five more points off the bench and four more in the paint.

🔼 In the “Ick” of Time. Mini Mic Monday was back in the gym with the UTSA baseball team, and this question got straight to the point—”What’s your biggest baseball ick?”
