🔼 Supporting UTSA. AT&T CEO Ed Whitacre and his wife, Linda Whitacre, have made a $7 million gift to UTSA to advance research, student success, and athletics. The Whitacres donated $5 million to honor the late William L. Henrich, MD, the former UT Health San Antonio president, to advance the institution’s expertise in metabolic health. An additional $2 million will support the Margie and Bill Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design and UTSA Athletics.
