Brew-1-0 12/11: The "Difference-Maker"

UTSA Athletics will break ground on its more than 53,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art training facility next week.

Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. UTSA Athletics will break ground on its more than 53,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art training facility on Wednesday, Dec. 18.

The facility will house the daily operations of the UTSA MBB, WBB, and volleyball programs. It will feature two full-sized NCAA practice courts, locker rooms, and a team lounge for each program, as well as a weight room, an athletic training/hydrotherapy space, team meeting rooms, and coaches’ offices for each program.

UTSA will make its fifth straight and sixth overall bowl appearance when it faces Coastal Carolina in the Myrtle Beach Bowl on Monday, Dec. 23.

In Traylor’s first season at the helm, UTSA nearly completed a comeback against No. 16 Louisiana in the 2020 First Responder Bowl at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas. The Roadrunners rallied from a 24-7 deficit to tie the game, only to see the Ragin’ Cajuns score a late touchdown and escape with a 31-24 victory.
