Good Morning, Roadrunners Fam. UTSA women’s soccer is off to the American Conference Championship Final! The Roadrunners defeated No. 3 Memphis in penalty kicks last night to advance to the championship game. It’s the first ranked win in program history!

Zoe May, Brooklyn Bailey, and Aaliyaiah Durden scored for the Roadrunners in regulation, including Durden’s game-tying goal with less than three minutes to play in the match. Jasmine Kessler, May, and Bri Carrigan scored during the shootout to deliver the historic come-from-behind win for UTSA.
The Roadrunners will face Rice on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. live on ESPNU for the title.

🔼 Tip Off. UTSA men’s hoops tipped off a new season this week at the Convocation Center. The Roadrunners beat College of Biblical Studies, 97-30, to get to 1-0, while shooting 50.6 percent from the floor. 11 players scored, and 13 players grabbed at least one rebound in the win. Next up, the Roadrunners will face SIU Edwardsville today at 12:30 p.m.

🔼 Up Next. UTSA football fell to South Florida, 55-23, on the road last night. Owen McCown passed for 200 yards, one touchdown, and an interception, while Brandon Tennison completed 13 passes for 109 yards and a score. Houston Thomas led the Roadrunners in receiving with seven catches for 77 yards, while Patrick Overmeyer and Mekhi Anderson each caught a touchdown pass in the loss.
UTSA will travel to Charlotte on Saturday, Nov. 15, for another road battle. The game kicks off at 11 a.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Home Finale. UTSA volleyball will play two games this weekend to wrap up the team’s home slate. The Roadrunners will welcome Temple to the Convocation Center tonight at 6 p.m., then square off against Tulane on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. Both matches will air on ESPN+, and both have American Conference Championship implications. The Roadrunners are currently ranked ninth, a match behind Temple, with the top eight teams advancing to the conference tournament.
🔼 Record Set. UTSA men’s basketball set a new record in their season opener for fewest points allowed in program history! The previous record had stood since 2006. The Roadrunners also set the American Conference record for fewest points allowed!
