Good Morning, UTSA Fam. It’s GAME DAY! UTSA men’s hoops begins its 2026-27 campaign this afternoon in a Monday matinee against San Jose State, tipping at 2 p.m. CT on MW+. The Roadrunners bring an almost entirely new roster to California, with sophomore Dorian Hayes the lone returner after leading the team in made threes as a freshman. It’s UTSA’s first road opener since 2020-21, and the home slate kicks off Saturday against VMI.

🔼 Two on the Podium. Meryeme Mai and Andruw Villa both earned All-Conference honors at the American Cross Country Championships, with Mai taking sixth in the women’s 6K and Villa 15th in the men’s 8K. Mai is UTSA’s first all-conference finisher on the women’s side since 2021 and the program’s highest finisher in more than a decade. Newcomer Zac Mangum landed on the all-freshman team, giving the Roadrunner men a selection in back-to-back seasons.
