UTSA men’s basketball cruised to a 103-70 win in a Tuesday matinee matchup. Jamir Simpson paved the way for the Roadrunners with 21 points, giving him his third straight 20-point showing, while Austin Nunez tallied 18 points, good for his second straight career-high.

UTSA will next head to Florida for two Thanksgiving-week tournament games on Nov. 24 and 25.

🔼 Run Wild. UTSA’s Robert Henry Jr. landed on the Doak Walker Award semifinalist list. Henry is one of 10 semifinalists for the award, which is given each year to the country’s most outstanding college running back. Henry has 983 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 138 carries this season, giving him an average of 7.1 yards per carry. He’s also added 112 yards and two touchdowns through the air.

🔼 Hometown Showdown. UTSA women’s basketball is set to take on UIW across town tonight at 7 p.m. The Roadrunners are coming off a 64-41 win over Texas State that delivered coach Karen Aston’s 350th career win. 🔼 Best Of The Week. UTSA women’s hoops’ Cheyenne Rowe earned an American Conference Player of the Week honorable mention! Rowe scored 16 points and added eight rebounds in the Roadrunners’ win over Texas State last week.
