🔼 A Balanced Attack. Charlotte didn’t score an offensive touchdown as UTSA posted a 28-7 win over the 49ers on Saturday afternoon. The Roadrunners held the 49ers to 197 yards while racking up 521 yards of their own. Shad Banks Jr’s eight tackles led the way defensively, while Owen McCown posted 306 yards and two touchdowns, all while scoring again with his legs. Will Henderson III tallied 185 yards and a touchdown, while Devin McCuin logged his first career 100-yard receiving game with 100 yards and a TD. The game marked UTSA’s second 500-yard showing of the season.

🔼 Honors College. Twenty-two students affiliated with UTSA Athletics are part of UT San Antonio’s Honors College, which includes 16 current student-athletes, one former student-athlete, three members of the cheer program, one student athlete trainer, and one student manager. The community recognizes achievement-oriented students and helps them develop into leaders and professionals beyond their coursework.

🔼 Road Win. UTSA men’s basketball picked up the road win on Saturday afternoon, defeating Denver, 84-79. Baboucarr Njie posted a double-double with 23 points and 12 boards while shooting 52.9 percent from the field, and Jamir Simpson tallied 20 points, including shooting 4-of-8 from beyond the arc in the win.

The Roadrunners are back home tomorrow, hosting a Thanks4giving Food Drive. Tip off is scheduled for 11 a.m. against Southwestern Christian.

🔼 A Season Ends. UTSA soccer finished a remarkable season in the NCAA Tournament, dropping a 2-1 nailbiter on the road to No. 6 seed Texas Tech. Jasmine Kessler scored the equalizer for the Roadrunners in the 61st minute before the Red Raiders took the lead for good a little over 15 minutes later. Kessler became the first in-goal goalie to score a goal in UTSA history, all while logging six saves. The Roadrunners close the season with a 10-6-6 record, good for the fourth highest win percentage in school history. This year’s squad was the first UTSA team to win the conference tournament championship since joining the American.
