🔼 Hitting it Outta the Park. The American Volleyball Coaches Association released its 2024 Diversity Award Winners, with UTSA Head Student Manager Brendon Park receiving recognition. The award serves as a way for the AVCA to foster an inclusive community, add value, and engage aspiring coaches at all levels as leaders in volleyball to assist them in advancing their careers. Female and male, Black or ethnic minority club, high school, and collegiate (indoor and beach) volleyball coaches are eligible for the accolades, and the AVCA Diversity Development Team oversees the selection of the award recipients.

Park is one of 151 in the 10-year history of the award to be honored, and as a part of the distinction, will receive recognition at the 2024 AVCA Convention in December.

Hardwood Heartache. It was a hard-fought battle, but now it’s onward and upward. The UTSA MBB team looks ahead to the Cantoberfest game this weekend against Little Rock on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 3:00 PM CST.
