Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. Junior Sidney Love recorded a career-high 11 assists with 21 points, five rebounds, and five steals in a 74-69 victory over UTRGV in nonconference action inside the Convo on Friday. Redshirt senior Jordyn Jenkins poured in 19 points of her own.

The Roadrunners (1-1, 0-0 The American) escaped the Vaqueros (1-1, 0-0 Southland) with Love becoming the first squad member to tally 20-plus points and 10-plus rebounds in a single game since UTSA Athletics Hall of Famer Monica Gibbs charted 20 points and ten assists in a matchup with Lamar on Feb. 28, 2009.

🔼 Sunday’s Senior Day Sweep 🧹. The UTSA volleyball program celebrated Senior Day on Sunday, with festivities including a 25-19, 25-21, 25-19 sweep over Florida Atlantic in AAC action in the Convo.

The Roadrunners (9-18, 3-11 The American) knocked off the Owls (15-11, 7-7 The American), with freshman Ally Tribe pacing the squad with 11 kills, while junior Mia Soerensen and senior Alicia Coppedge each posted nine. Sophomore Peyton Turner topped the contest's dig leaderboard with 10, as classmate Annika Sokol tallied 19 assists and freshman Morgen Durgens 14.

🔼 Give Him All the Snaps. Our congrats go out to Cade Collenback for being named a nominee for the Burlsworth Trophy, presented each year to college football's most outstanding player who began his career as a walk-on.

🔼 Putting a Pin in It. UTSA women’s tennis concluded at the Rice Invitational on Sunday, Nov. 10, at the George R. Brown Tennis Center. The Roadrunners won a total of four doubles matches and six singles matches.

UTSA will head back to Waco, Texas, after previously competing in the H-E-B Invitational, this time to compete in the NCAA Individual Championships starting Nov. 19-Nov. 24.

🔼 A Mandate From Mother Nature. ICYMI! Due to inclement weather in the central U.S. disrupting North Dakota’s travel to Texas, Saturday’s men’s basketball contest/ White Out game with North Dakota was canceled. Whether the game can be rescheduled to later in the season is TBD.

Skipping past Saturday, UTSA hits the road for the first time this season, traveling to Peoria, Ilinois, to face Bradley in a Tuesday, Nov. 12 matchup.

🔼 Beyond the Court. UTSA volleyball player Faye Wilbricht talks about transferring to the university and how visiting her mom at work on base in San Antonio motivated her desire to pursue a career in special education.
