Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. UTSA’s Homecoming Game against Florida Atlantic on Saturday, Oct. 19, will kick off at 2:30 p.m. and air on ESPN+, the league office announced.

The Roadrunners and Owls will meet for the fifth time in the American Athletic Conference contest at the Alamodome. UTSA scored a 36-10 road triumph last October for its first victory in the series.

In addition to Homecoming, the game versus Florida Atlantic is UTSA’s Salute to Healthcare and is part of UTSA Family Weekend. A complete list of UTSA’s official Homecoming events can be found online at utsa.edu/homecoming.

🔼 Low-Gan’s Strong Finish. Logan Vargas finished in the top 50 individuals to help lead the UTSA men’s golf team to a 15th-place finish at the Trinity Forest Invitational, which concluded on Tuesday at Trinity Forest Golf Club (par 72/7,617 yards).

Vargas moved up eight places on the final day into a tie for 43rd at 2-over-par 218 (69-78-71) for his top finish of the fall, while the Roadrunners registered an 889 (294-300-295) to place 15th, only four strokes behind UT Arlington in the team race. The junior from Lubbock posted his second red number of the week on Tuesday, firing a 1-under 71 that featured six birdies.

🔼 Let’s Get This Party Bumpin’. The UTSA volleyball team continues American Athletic Conference play tonight as they host Tulane at 6 p.m. in the Convocation Center.

The Roadrunners (6-11, 0-4 The American) will look to halt a six-match skid after falling to East Carolina (25-19, 25-21, 25-21) and Charlotte (20-25, 25-23, 25-20, 11-25, 15-13) last time out.
