🏆 Game-Sealing Stops
🏈 First-Ever Meeting
🤙🏼 And much, much more!

🔼 Game-Sealing Stops. Darion White closed the door on Rice with two plays in the final two minutes, and the American Conference named him Defensive Player of the Week for it. The linebacker dropped Jacurri Brown for a seven-yard sack with 1:40 left, then made the stop on Brown's fourth-down run five yards short of the sticks to clinch UTSA's 16-14 win. White finished with seven tackles as the Roadrunners held Rice to 232 total yards. It's the first conference weekly honor of his career and the first for UTSA this season.

🔼 First-Ever Meeting. UTSA's home game against Navy on Saturday, Oct. 17 will air on ESPNU with a 7 p.m. kickoff at the Alamodome. It's the first time the two programs have ever met on the football field, and the game doubles as the Roadrunners' annual Salute to Armed Forces and Veterans presented by USAA. Tickets are available at goUTSA.com/tickets. Before that, UTSA hosts South Florida on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.

🔼 Beyond the Jersey. Sit down with UTSA football’s Nate Robinson Jr. and UTSA cross country & track & field’s Yazmin Guerra as part of the American Conference’s Powerful Minds Week series as student-athletes talk about their highlights, heroes, hardships, and history.

How many tackles for loss did UTSA record against Rice?
