Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. UTSA’s blocking total represents a new school rally-scoring era record, while Coppedge posted 13 blocks for a program single-match record.

The Roadrunners (8-15, 2-8 The American) knocked off the Bulls (12-9, 8-2 The American), who entered the match as the top team in the conference.

🔼 Annie, Get Your Nine Iron. The UTSA men’s golf team will wrap up the fall season today and tomorrow at The Clerico, held at Oaks Country Club (par 70/6,950 yards) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The field will play 36 holes today, and the final round is set for Tuesday.

UTSA will compete against Baylor, No. 18 Duke, Florida Gulf Coast, Kansas City, No. 36 Little Rock, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, No. 30 Northwestern, host Oral Roberts, Santa Clara, and UTEP, as well as individuals from No. 2 Oklahoma and No. 9 Oklahoma State.

This will mark UTSA’s third straight appearance in The Clerico. Last year, Hunter Bott earned runner-up honors with an 8-under-par 202 (68-69-65) to help lead the Roadrunners to fourth place in a 12-team field.

🔼 A Tough Pill to Swallow. UTSA tied the school record for sacks and tackles for loss, and Owen McCown set a new program standard for passing yards in a game. Still, Tulsa rallied for a 46-45 win over the Roadrunners in conference action on Saturday afternoon. UTSA built a 35-7 halftime lead only to see the Golden Hurricane complete the comeback with a touchdown pass and an extra point in the final minutes.

The Roadrunners will return home to host Memphis (7-1, 3-1) for the Lights Out game on Saturday, Nov. 2.
