UTSA Athletics partners with Nike and Game One for their official outfitter and supplier

Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. UTSA Athletics has announced a new apparel partnership with Nike and Game One. Nike will become the official outfitter of UTSA Athletics beginning June 2, 2025. Game One, one of the largest and fastest-growing equipment suppliers in the country with a loyal customer base of more than 130 colleges and universities nationally, will serve as the official supplier of the Roadrunners’ uniform, apparel, and footwear needs.

🔼 Passing the Torch. UTSA Hall-of-Famer Derrick Gervin imparted his wisdom on the latest Roadrunners MBB squad before his UTSA Athletics Hall of Fame induction last week!

🔼 A Tall Order. The UTSA volleyball team will visit Temple at McGonigle Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at 5 PM CST this evening before hosting South Florida in a Rowdy Rodeo-themed contest on Sunday at 1 PM in the Convocation Center.

The Roadrunners (7-14, 1-7 The American) split last week, sweeping UAB (25-22, 25-21, 25-19) ahead of a loss to Tulsa (25-18, 25-11, 25-19).

🔼 Advantage ‘Runners. Producing a big-result day in Houston at the George R. Brown Tennis Center, both Ekua Youri and Letizia Corsini move onto the quarterfinals for UTSA women’s tennis at the American Athletic Conference Individual Championships after winning both of their singles matches on the opening day of championship competition.

Both Roadrunners will be in quarterfinal action today at 11:30 AM CST. Youri faces Charlotte’s Sara Suchankova, while Corsini will match up with Rice’s Darya Schwartzman. A semifinals appearance is on the line in both sections of the bracket.

🔼 If These Halls Could Talk. The members of the UTSA WBB team got some words of wisdom from two UTSA Athletics Hall of Famers! Thank you to Starlite Williams and Monica Gibbs for swinging by practice.
