🏀 Nine at Home
🏆 Tournament Title Defense Begins
🤙🏼 And much, much more!

🔼 Nine at Home. UTSA men's basketball has its 2026-27 American Conference slate, an 18-game run in year three under head coach Austin Claunch with 14 newcomers on the roster. The Roadrunners open league play at Temple on Jan. 2 in Philadelphia, then host their first conference game against Tulsa at the Convocation Center on Jan. 7. Nine league games land in San Antonio, including a Valentine's Day visit from Memphis and a three-game home stand that starts Feb. 4. The regular season closes at home against Temple on March 7, with the American Championship following March 10-14 in Tampa.

🔼 Tournament Title Defense Begins. Two Sunshine State trips are the first order of business for UTSA women's basketball, which visits Florida Atlantic on Dec. 30 and South Florida on Jan. 2 to start American Conference play. North Texas christens the Convocation Center slate on Jan. 6, with Wichita State following four days later. Florida Atlantic returns the visit for the March 3 home finale, and the regular season closes in New Orleans against Tulane on March 6. The American Championship runs March 9-13 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa.

🔼 Altitude Adjustment. UTSA women's golf heads to Highlands Ranch, Colorado for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate Oct. 2-4, facing a 15-team field at University of Denver Golf Club that includes Notre Dame, Colorado, and Oregon State. Lauren Rios leads the Roadrunners with a team-best 74.83 stroke average through two events, while Victoria Schuldt brings the squad's top finish of the fall after earning a share of the individual title at The Bruzzy.

🔼 Heading To South Bend. UTSA cross country runs today at the Joe Paine Notre Dame Invitational, with the men's 8k off at 9:40 a.m. CT in the Blue Division and the women's 5k following at 11 a.m. CT in the Gold Division. Andruw Villa and Meryeme Mai bring momentum after sweeping American Conference Athlete of the Week honors for their showings at the UIW Invitational. Freshman Cadence Harris, Kira Albino, and Ana Garza all finished inside the top 25 last time out and are back in action.

🔼 Stars of the Week. Congratulations to UTSA football’s Mekhi Anderson and UTSA soccer’s Addi O’Kelly, who earned UTSA Athletics Stars of the Week honors presented by USAA!

🔼 On Par. CGN+ catches up with David Martinez after the Houston native opened his season with a share of the individual title at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate, his first collegiate win, with rounds of 68, 67, and 69.

🔼 Fall Ball. We love the sights of UTSA softball in the fall air!
