Brew-1-0 10/15: Lone Star Standouts

Plus: Rowdy Jam is tomorrow!

🤙The Official Newsletter For UTSA Athletics

Good Morning, Roadrunners Fam. The American has dropped the 2026 football scheduling model, and UTSA’s slate is loaded with exciting matchups! The Roadrunners will host Navy, North Texas, South Florida, and Tulsa inside the Alamodome, while hitting the road to take on FAU, Rice, Tulane, and UAB.

Nonconference play is just as fun next season, as UTSA travels to Texas State and Texas, then returns home for showdowns with Colorado State and New Mexico State. The American will again feature no divisions, with the top two teams squaring off in the championship game.

🔼 Lone Star Standouts. UTSA seniors Robert Henry Jr. and Caile Hogan have been named to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Midseason All-Texas College Team. Henry lands on the first team as a running back, and Hogan is included on the second team as a punter. Henry’s season so far has been electric: 730 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on just 92 carries (7.9 yards per carry), plus 14 receptions for 105 yards and two receiving TDs, making him one of the most versatile weapons in the state.

Meanwhile, Hogan averages 46.6 yards per punt, good for the best mark in the American Conference and 12th in the FBS.

🔼 Locked Down. UTSA soccer’s Kameron Kloza has been named the American Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. She scored the go-ahead goal in the 78th minute against South Florida, won every aerial duel, made five interceptions, and recorded four clearances, helping UTSA keep momentum and hold second place in the conference standings.

🔼 Game Time. The Roadrunners’ October 30 home game against Tulane will be nationally televised on ESPN, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Alamodome. This matchup comes as both teams are receiving votes in national polls, and the series is tied 1-1. Additionally, UTSA’s season finale vs. Army is confirmed for Nov. 29, with network and kickoff to be announced later.
