🤙🏼 ONE BIG THING
UTSA Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Lisa Campos was recognized as the Sandy Barbour Nike DI FBS Athletic Director of the Year on Tuesday at the 2026 Women Leaders in Sports National Convention.
Originally announced in August, this was the second time Campos was honored as an AD of the Year, as she was tabbed National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Athletics Director of the Year in March and honored in June at the 61st annual NACDA & Affiliates Convention in Las Vegas.

🔼 Dynamic Duo. Logging the second major American Conference weekly award for UTSA soccer this season, Sofia Peters has been named American Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
In addition, goalkeeper Jasmine Kessler received weekly Honorable Mention for her play between the pipes this week.
A major component in a strong defensive effort that produced back-to-back conference wins for the Roadrunners at South Florida and at home over league-leading UAB, Peters notches her first career major award as American Defensive Player of the Week – previously collecting Honorable Mention on Sept. 14.

🔼 In The Hunt. With 18 holes remaining, the UTSA women’s golf team is tied for second at the Golf Iconic Classic, which continued Tuesday at New Mexico State Golf Course (par 72/6,420 yards).
Led by Victoria Schuldt and Lydia Lin, who are both in the top five individuals, the Roadrunners are deadlocked with Nebraska for second at 5-under-par 571. UTSA followed an opening-round 282 with a 289 Tuesday behind Lin, who fired a 3-under 69 to pace the lineup.
The Roadrunners are eight shots behind 36-hole leader San Diego State, which jumped to the top of the leaderboard with an 11-under 277 in the second round. Fresno State is in fourth (-2) and UTEP is fifth (-1) in the 19-team field.
🔼 One To Remember. Sunday will be a day that former UTSA standout Elliott Davison will never forget.
Davison made his NFL debut with the New England Patriots in their blowout win over Las Vegas. The former Roadrunner collected two tackles and a pass deflection.
On the opposite sideline, former UTSA offensive lineman Spencer Burford made his fifth consecutive start at guard for the Raiders.
